CEO
Alison Kung PT, DPT
Soccer coach, retired semi professional/collegiate soccer player, and physical therapist, with a passion for helping athletes play at their best for as long as possible.
Coach Alison graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in 2022, and is currently working as a Physical Therapist in Los Angeles, CA. She competed in collegiate soccer at Cal Poly Pomona and competed on the La Salsa Semi-Pro team, which is currently under the name of FC Premier.
Over the course of 23+ years of playing soccer, Coach Alison has endured multiple smaller injuries and two bigger ones that required knee surgeries. Through this process, in addition to watching her teammates suffer from injuries over the course of the years, and helping out in high school to tape her teammate's ankles, she began her desire for learning more ways to prevent injuries from occurring
Her initiative is to utilize her love and competitive experiences through soccer, along with the depth of knowledge that was acquired as a physical therapist, to share the importance of proper training techniques that will reduce injuries while still improving each player's game.
She believes that if coaches and players can see the benefits of dedicating time to injury prevention techniques (ie. warm- up, cool-down, and practicing tactics to prevent injuries) and understand that it will not impede success, injuries would be decreased and players will be able to increase their longevity in the sport.
One of her foundational philosophies is:
"Preparation is one of the best forms of both injury prevention and achieving success on the field".
